Let's face it..vinyl is here to stay. For many, it’s our preferred (and only) listening format that we’re willing to spend money on. Unfortunately, many great albums from Canadian artists never saw a vinyl release. Or if they did, the quantity did not satisfy current demand.

With Groundswell Records, we’ve harnessed our love for vinyl and paired it with the age old strength-in-numbers concept. We allow you, the music fans to join a Groundswell to express your interest in owning a particular album on vinyl. Although we do not own the rights to any of these albums, as the Groundswell numbers grow, we hope the collective voice will convince the artist or labels to release a limited run vinyl pressing – with Groundswellers hearing about it first.
